April 2008 eRegister400 online catalog announced. Point of Sale hardware and supplies that we currently provide will soon be available on our website for our customers' convenience. Thermal receipt paper, barcode labels, cabling, routers, thin clients, and more.
March 2008 eRegister400 completes migration to RPG ILE environment. RPG IV provides a vast number of functional, performance, maintenance, and productivity benefits to the RPG environment. In addition, it has the ability to encompass functionality across multiple programming languages, facilitating greater flexibility when integrating to external processes.
February 2008 New email application modules added to eRegister400. Distribute reports to upper management electronically. In addition, have receipts and order confirmations emailed to customers who have their email address specified on their accounts.
December 2007 Janam XP20 replaces Symbol product line for batch terminals.
November 2007 JavaMail API integration with eRegister400 POS enters the development arena. The SNDDST feature embedded in OS400 has fallen short of our email solution goals on the iSeries. JavaMail has been adopted as the foundation of eRegister400's future direct-email capabilities. Unlike SNDDST, it supports multipart html formatted emails and file attachments.
October 2007 Report Overlay feature added to eRegister400 product suite. Our development team has streamlined the very confusing world of iSeries print overlays. Now you can create a document "format" in any editor of your choice and attach your report output to it. Use it to create a custom house account statement, or position your company logo on your invoices.
August 2007 Palm Powered Symbol SPT1550 introduced to the eRegister400 physical inventory applications. Introduction of this technology greatly enhances the existing physical inventory capabilities provided by the Symbol PDT3100 batch terminals currently in production. Also, as a portable price lookup scanner, it can display more information, more easily. Scan and display an items price, on hand value, vendor, or any other item specific data.
